Every project tells a story - here's where we've pushed boundaries, solved tricky problems, and honestly just had a blast creating spaces people actually want to live and work in.
This one was a real challenge - client wanted floor-to-ceiling glass but didn't wanna compromise privacy. We ended up designing these clever angled panels that shift the sightlines while keeping that stunning lake view intact.
Took us about 18 months from initial sketches to completion, but man was it worth it. The interplay between natural light and shadow throughout the day is something you've gotta see in person.
Sometimes the best projects aren't about building from scratch - they're about seeing potential where others don't.
Honestly, when we first walked into this 1940s warehouse, it smelled like decades of neglect. But the bones were solid - those exposed beams and original brick? Pure gold. We kept what mattered and stripped away everything that didn't.
Downtown Toronto | Completed 2022 | 8,500 sq ft
This project tested every skill we had. Original Victorian from 1892 that'd been chopped up into apartments in the 70s. Client wanted modern amenities but authentic period details - and yeah, those two things don't always play nice together. Took us forever to source matching crown molding.
Rosedale, Toronto | Completed 2021 | 5,800 sq ft
Client came to us wanting LEED Platinum - we delivered Gold with plans for Platinum next year. Sometimes you gotta be realistic about timelines, y'know?
Completed: Fall 2023
12,000 sq ft
This neighborhood's been changing fast, and we wanted to design something that'd fit right in while standing out. Ground floor retail, three floors of work-live spaces above. The zoning approval alone took 8 months - don't get me started.
The Junction, Toronto
In Progress: Est. 2024
18,500 sq ft
Building in cottage country means dealing with rock - lots of it. Foundation work was a nightmare but the final result? Chef's kiss. Floor-to-ceiling windows facing the lake, heated floors, the works.
Completed: 2022
3,600 sq ft
Restaurant design is tricky - gotta balance aesthetics with serious functionality. Kitchen workflow, noise control, sight lines to the water... it's like solving a puzzle where all the pieces keep moving.
Completed: Summer 2023
4,200 sq ft
Behind every finished project there's hundreds of hours of sketching, calculating, and honestly sometimes arguing about the best solution.
